Using Lion Rampant for the Reconquista - 1/72 scale

I have been steadily rebasing my Reconquista armies for Lion Rampant. I had been working on a 1/72 project for Hail Caesar or Impetus, but I was not able to find anyone who was interested, so the minis just sat on the shelf. With the new group I game with, I have found quite a few people who like the LR and Dragon Rampant (DR) rules - so I decided to rebase my Christian Spanish and Andalusians for LR.

Here are a few photos of the Andalusians.

First game of Dragon Rampant using Undead

The other day I tried my first game of Dragon Rampant (DR). I played my 24pt list of Undead again a 24pt list of Goblins. I won in the end, but it was not a sure thing until the last round.

What I like about DR is that no warband really has an advantage; for every plus there is a minus. For example, I played the below big baddie as a 10 point Elite Rider. This guy caused so much havoc amongst the goblins but suffered from the Undead trait; Unfeeling - so, when the goblins did hit, the wounds were rounded up. This guy proved valuable, but was not super durable, and eventually crumbled.

Below is my Necromancer. This guy proved super useful too, as he was able to mop up the remaining Goblins with his ranged attacks (built on the Light Missile troop type)

Oathmark Dwarves

Well, with what's currently happening in the world, I find myself with a little more focus to blog. I paint quite a bit, and game, but I fell off from blogging as it can sometimes just be a chore to do!

Here are the fist batch of Oathmark Dwarves I painted up for Dragon Rampant. I painted these up a few weeks ago, but I did not take a lot of pictures at that time. I will take some more in the near future......for real.
